RWSA is launching an exciting new program of virtual events! Join us for these upcoming sessions!

October 16: Talking in Conversation: Bringing Academics and Professionals Together
Our first virtual talk will feature the work of Sydney Giacalone, an anthropology doctoral candidate at Brown University. Sydney’s research focuses on multigenerational farmers and ranchers in the American south and midwest who are working towards environmental and social repair on their land and in their communities. In this session, Sydney will speak about integrating participants as experts into both the research process and dissemination, showcased in the 2024 RWSA conference session about this research in which three female farmer participants presented as session speakers and conference attendees.
