Announcing our latest endeavor – our RWSA virtual programs! At our 2024 Conference, Allison Mitchell and Elyssa Ford graciously agreed to become the founding members of our virtual programming committee, and they are excited to announce a slate of upcoming events.
We kicked off our new annual series of quarterly programming in October 2024 with “Talking in Conversation: Bringing Academics and Professionals Together” where Sydney Giacalone, a doctoral student at Brown University, shared how she collaborates closely with farmers across the South and Midwest.
Next, we held our first RWSA New Book Talk in February 2025. The talk featured a dynamic conversation with authors Kathryn Beasley, Elyssa Ford, and Peter Moser about their recently published works.
