Book submissions due by November 15th!
RWSA kicked off our new annual series of quarterly programming with “Talking in Conversation: Bringing Academics and Professionals Together” where Sydney Giacalone, a doctoral student at Brown University, shared how she collaborates closely with farmers across the South and Midwest. Eight people and several students from Eastern Oregon University participated in the conversation.
Our next program in the series will be a recent book discussion, to take place in January 2025. If you published a book in 2023 or 2024 – or if you have one coming soon in early 2025 – please contact Elyssa Ford (eb****@********ri.edu) and Allison Mitchell (al*********@***il.com) with the URL to your book information and a short bio, due by November 15th. Elyssa and Allison will create a panel discussion out of these submissions.
Also, remember to join RWSA members for our on-going monthly craft hour. This takes place via Zoom on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 PM (central time). Please contact Elyssa Ford (eb****@********ri.edu) for the Zoom link.
